"The Godfather" house is available on Airbnb for August

One of the most recognizable houses from The Godfather might become your next summer getaway. The real-life Don Corleone’s residence is going to open its doors this August. Potential guests can book a 30-night stay on Airbnb, right in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic crime film directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

The 1930 English-Tudor style mansion is available for only $50 a night. According to the listing, this house can accommodate up to 5 visitors starting August 1st. Guests will have private access to the entire 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom home, which includes a large saltwater pool, a pub in the basement, a game room, and a gym. 

This home has also appeared in The Godfather Part II. However, only exterior shots were filmed at this property. All interior scenes took place in the former Filmways Studio in Harlem, Manhattan. The real address of Vito Corleone’s home is 110 Longfellow Avenue, Staten Island, and not Long Island, as the film suggests. 

The current owners of The Godfather house purchased this property back in 2016 for $2.4 million. Since then, the home has been renovated. Once you step inside, you will find four TVs, perfect for The Godfather movie marathon, and an eat-in kitchen with granite countertops and modern kitchen appliances. 

The owners of the house suggest that this home is most suitable for two adults and three kids. Fans of the film must be ready to book this stay at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 27, when the listing becomes available to the public.
