A Georgian-style home from Netflix’s “Bridgerton” hits the market for the first time in 300 years
Netflix’s Regency-era romantic drama, Bridgerton, has won the hearts of millions of viewers. The second season of this show, which aired in March of 2022, became the most popular English-language series, with over 193 million hours viewed in its premiere weekend.
Now, as fans wait for the third season of the highly acclaimed show, they have a chance to purchase one of the historic properties that made a cameo in Bridgerton. The entire Beauford Square, which comes with thirteen houses, four apartments, and two commercial units, appeared on the market for the first time in 300 years.

For £18.5 million (USD 22.1 million), a potential buyer will acquire 41 properties that sit next to the center of Bath – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sale also includes Royston House with 13 period apartments and an unbroken row of nine Georgian cottages, known as Lark Place.
“This is a truly rare opportunity to purchase a selection of historic buildings which present excellent investment potential,” Lee Richards, Head of BTR and PRS at Carter Jonas told House Beautiful. “The buildings are near to 100 per cent occupied and are highly desirable due to their picturesque facades and fantastic location.”

The current owner of these properties is St John’s Foundation, a Bath-based 848-year-old community charity. The 41 residential and commercial units generate an annual rental income of £609,039 (USD 725,868), which could increase when contracts come up for renewal, The Times reports. According to the St John’s Foundation website, all the profits from the sale of the buildings will go towards supporting children, people over the age of 55, and adults in crisis.
