Byers’ House from “Stranger Things” is listed for rent on Airbnb

Fans of Stranger Things have the opportunity to stay in one of the real-life houses that appeared in the iconic drama series. The 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom Buyers’ home can be rented on Airbnb. Inside, you will find some of the famous props and vintage decor. 

Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, Stranger Things centers around a group of teenagers who are fighting evil creatures from an alternative reality called the ‘Upside Down’. A few leading characters had to leave Hawkins at the end of Season 3. They settled in another fictional town in California known as Lenora Hills. This Airbnb listing was their new residence. 

The 4,000-square feet home has an open-space living room, fully stocked kitchen, and spacious bedrooms. It is large enough to accommodate 14 guests. Once you go downstairs, you will find an 80-s-inspired basement filled with arcade games, air hockey, and ping pong.

According to the show, this house belongs to the Byers family, which consists of four members: Joyce, starring Winona Ryder, her sons Jonathan, portrayed by Charlie Heaton, and Will, played by Noah Schnapp, along with Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven. The owners of the real-life home, Ryan and Karen Asher said that they are trying to keep the interior “as original/authentic as possible”.

"We were initially going to move into the house until learning how popular Stranger Things has become,” Ashers told Newsweek. "We decided to turn it into an Airbnb in order to share the home with others to enjoy as well.”

The movie-ready home is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, next to the hiking and biking trails, parks, tennis courts, and restaurants. This is the perfect place for a family getaway or the ultimate fan trip. The pricing starts at $388 per night – Stranger Things-inspired decor and mountain views are included.
