While everyone is talking about sky-high real estate prices, some owners have to dramatically cut their asking price to meet the demand.

The 8-acre property is the largest and most expensive listing on Long Island's North Shore. In the past decade, the mansion was put on the market twice for $100 million in 2015 and $85 million in 2017. Now, the Long Island palace is available for $47 million via Sotheby’s International Realty

The Roaring' 20s estate includes the main house and two guest houses surrounded by gardens and perfect lawns. In total, the property offers 60,000 square feet of living space with 13 bedrooms and 35 bathrooms. The main house was built in 1928 and has since been updated many times, according to the Business Insider

Rosewood estate with indoor basketball court

The 20,000 square-foot mansion is surrounded by tall trees and sits on 86 private acres. The property was built in 2004 and features 6 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The garden estate includes a lot of space for indoor activities, such as a basketball court, gymnasium, and media room. It is perfect for a large family or social gatherings. 

Rosewood estate is located in a gated neighborhood in Chappaqua, NY. In 2010, the property was listed for $27.5 million. Five years later, the price dropped to almost $18 million, and now you can buy the mansion for $6.75 million.
