This mini Cinderella castle is on the market in upstate New York

New York is best known for its skyscrapers and expansive Hudson Valley mansions. But this state has so much more to offer, including some of the most unique and magnificent castles. Currently, one of these castles is looking for a new owner. This miniature castle is for sale in Irvington, New York, for nearly $1.75 million. 

Since its construction in 1929, this castle has welcomed many notable residents and guests, including Academy Award-winning actress Shirley Jones, Tony Award-winning actor Jack Cassidy, former Associated Press executive Lloyd Stratton, and Hollywood composer Robert Wright. The 3,502-square-foot Cinderella dream house has two turrets, cathedral ceilings, and ornate stained glass windows. 

“This is a one-of-a-kind find,” the property’s listing agent, Adam Blankfort, told Mansion Global. “I’ve never seen a property with this proximity to New York City where you have your own courtyard.”

Known as Villa Keen, this unique residence has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. Upon entering the home, you will come across many original details, such as a Chesney fireplace mantle in the living room, a Schonbek Austrian crystal chandelier in the dining room, and an oak library.
